Getting to create for fellow wedding vendors is always an honour but designing the florals for Autumn and Alex’s fall elopement in Algonquin Park was extra special. The colour palette was soft pinks, warm golden yellows and fresh whites and included a variety of Ontario grown flowers. Their September Algonquin Provincial Park elopement was beautiful and we were so excited to be a part of it.
For Autumn and Alex’s floral arrangements, we really wanted to focus on Ontario locally grown blooms. We used a few different Ottawa floral farms for the soft pink dahlias, white cosmos, sahara rudbeckia, blush celosia and accented with a few imported flowers such as pale yellow garden roses, black cosmos and fluffy matricaria. The colour and texture combination of flowers combined perfectly for Autumn’s bouquet, Alex’s boutonniere and their adorable dog Luna’s floral collar.
