This fall Petawawa River elopement is full of unique details and the beautiful rocky backdrop of a northern river. We brought together a vintage wedding dress, a thrifted multi-coloured suit jacket, hand-crafted calligraphed stationery and whimsical florals. All these things paired with the stunning location made this fall Petawawa River elopement inspiration shoot a long time favourite.

When I moved to Petawawa, I immediately knew I had to get creative to meet other wedding professionals. Designing and planning a styled elopement seemed to be the best way to do that. It didn’t take me long to see that there was an incredible amount of talent in the area. Holly of Holly Anne Portraiture captured it all with her incredible artistic and candid shots. Emma of Emma Allen Design Studio created the most beautiful vow booklets and place cards. Payton of Valley Roots executed my hair vision exactly and Stacey of Sugar Society slayed the natural earth toned makeup. The hat from Anupaya and décor rentals from Inspired Events and Décor topped it all off. To create beautiful shoots it takes a village, I definitely got lucky and was able to work with some of The Ottawa Valley’s best.
