sunset mountaintop elopement

This sunset mountaintop elopement at Dundas Peak in Hamilton Ontario was full of stunning views, golden hues and striking outfits. I decided to plan this evening styled shoot to showcase one of the most beautiful locations in southern Ontario. Donning my lacy Dreamers and Lovers wedding dress and styling my husband in black pants, leather suspenders, pageboy hat and a cream shirt proved a great contrast to Dundas Peak’s epic scenery.

To bring this idea to life I turned to some of my favourite vendors. Karen from Last Summer Photography for the way she captures the golden hour and vastness of nature. Elisha from Bijoux Salon and Spa for hair because she always knows exactly the vision I want to execute. The last vendor to tie it all together was makeup from Tranquility Spa and Salon.

For the bridal bouquet, I knew I wanted to create something fair simple but striking. To achieve that I used large white Anthurium, tall spiking yellow Eremurus, fluffy natural Pampas, dark black Scabiosa and Gunni Eucalyptus. All the items together came to create a boho style elopement bouquet of dreams.

Dundas Peak proved to be an amazing location in each way. The hike to the peak from start to finish was around 15 minutes and had multiple areas along the way for photos as well. If you are thinking of having a sunset mountaintop elopement, definitely
