Julie-Anne and Jayden booked us for their wedding design and florals three months before their date. It was a short window to build a design but we knew we could create a beautiful day for them. Their The Wakefield Grand wedding which was featured on Junebug Weddings was definitely a highlight of our career and we loved every part of working with them.
When I came down to creating the design, I knew it had pull inspiration from the venue. The Wakefield Grand held both Old World charm and modern aesthetics. Both of which are my favourite aspects to design with and I was incredibly happy with the final result.
To bring my design to life, I sourced décor from vendors near and far. The linens, smoke water goblets and peach antique style chargers came from Simply Beautiful Décor who is based Niagara on the Lake. APB Groupe delivered gorgeous rustic farmhouse tables and modern ghost chairs from Montreal. The rest of the décor came from our rental collection and it all came together beautifully.
