Meredith and Tavyn’s wildflower backyard wedding was a cottage core dream. We absolutely loved working with them to bring their vibrant floral vision to life. The colours included white, pale yellow, soft pink, vibrant pink, blue and orange. From the bouquets to the large ceremony install, their wildflower backyard wedding was the highlight of our year.
For the flowers, we got the request to have daisies incorporated and we let them shine in the bouquets. In the bridesmaids bouquets we added a few sprigs of chamomile for texture but let the daisies be the star. The bridal bouquet also included daisies among the other flowers and it paired beautifully with with the bridesmaid bouquets.
Of course our favourite part of the day was creating the large ceremony arrangement in the outdoor space underneath the trees. We designed the 6 foot unstructured install to feel like an upright garden as a way to bring in the cottage core aesthetic. The flowers included daisies(of course), delphiniums, roses, tweedia, carnations, lisianthus and more. The ceremony arrangement was a perfect accent to the natural surroundings and was a creative high for us.
